Casa Bacardí

Bacardí is one of the most popular names in the world of cocktails and spirits and its creator, the businessman Facundo Bacardí Massó was, in fact, born in Sitges. Inaugurated in 2010, it became a visitor centre similar to the existing one in Puerto Rico. Casa Bacardí awaits you just a few minutes away from the hotel, in the Old Market in Sitges, a Modernist building from 1921.

Opening times: Friday to Sunday. 9€ per person.

Cau Ferrat

Cau Ferrat is a biographical museum located in the old house-workshop of the Catalan painter and writer Santiago Rusiñol, one of the most important figures of Catalan Modernism. Inaugurated as a museum in 1933, it is located next to Sant Sebastià Beach, in other words, a stone’s throw from URH Sitges Playa Hotel.

Opening times: April 1 – June 30 and October 1-31: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. July 1 – September 30: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Maricel Palace

Maricel Palace is part of the Maricel artistic complex inspired by the Noucentisme cultural movement and it’s located in the old town of Sitges, a few yards away from URH Sitges Playa Hotel. It is a building built between 1913 and 1916 currently dedicated to cultural activities.

Guided tour times: English: 11.00 a.m. Catalan: 12.00 p.m. Spanish: 1.00 p.m. Advance booking required.

Romantic Museum

Located in a Neoclassical-style building in the centre of Sitges, the Romantic Museum shows the transition from the Seventeenth century to the Nineteenth through a collection of items from that time. Inaugurated in 1949, the museum contains different collections, among them one dedicated to dolls. It is located just 700 yds. from the hotel.

Church of Sant Bartomeu

The Church of Sant Bartomeu and Santa Tecla is the parish church of the town of Sitges. Built in the Seventeenth century (having undergone numerous subsequent renovations), its asymmetric silhouette on top of a hill overlooking the beach is one of Sitges’ most characteristic images. You can find it just 350 yds. from the hotel.
